BigBlueButton: Poll Students (Video)

Purpose

Polling students can be a great way to increase active engagement in your online sessions. Polls can be used to:

• Check students’ prior knowledge of a subject to help inform what additional supports they may need

• Check-in on students’ understanding and progress

• Start conversations around a specific topic

• Establish student assumptions to spark a debate on their validity/invalidity
